Toxicology and Health Impact Assessment

Providing toxicology research, assessment, & consultation since 1987

My name is Michael J. DiBartolomeis, PhD, DABT and I am the Principal Scientist and Owner of Toxicology Research International. I am Board certified in toxicology with over 30 years of experience providing consultation services in toxicology and risk assessment overlapping more than 28 years as a research scientist and public health toxicologist in California State government. Originally located in northern California, I moved my primary offices to Maui in 2017 while still maintaining a presence in California. I work with a wide variety of collaborators and clients across the US and I have also provided consultation services internationally.

The primary mission of Toxicology Research International is to assess the impact of toxic chemicals on people's health and the environment and to find solutions to eliminate or minimize those impacts. I work primarily with nonprofit health and environmental advocacy organizations, government agencies, academic researchers, impacted communities, and environmentally and socially responsible businesses. I also provide technical support and expert testimony to law offices litigating chemical pollution, consumer product contamination, and injury/illness cases involving chemical exposures.

Please contact me by phone or email to describe your investigation, case, study, or project and to set up a telephone appointment. You may also use the contact form at the bottom of this page to inquire whether my services and background are right for you.
